BridgePro Engineering is a leading Tasmanian contractor specialising in innovative and high-quality end-to-end solutions, from concept to construction.

Sustainability & Community

Tasmanian owned, Tasmanian staffed and committed to the places our people live and work.

Sustainability at BridgePro is practical rather than decorative: local procurement and employment, a certified environmental management system, paperless digital delivery, and a community investment programme focused on the Cradle Coast and North-West. More than $220,000 has gone to Tasmanian charities and community organisations over the past four years, and at least four new apprentices start with us every year.

Environment

Certified, measured and managed on every site

Our environmental management system is third-party certified to ISO 14001:2015 by DLCS International under JAS-ANZ accreditation, and an environmental protection programme is tailored to each site before work starts.

Waste minimisedSpoil, casing, concrete, steel, reinforcement off-cuts and packaging managed under the certified system, recycled or reused where practical and otherwise disposed of through approved facilities.
Paperless deliverySafety registers, inspection forms, sign-on sheets, timesheets, ITPs and QA records captured in BridgePro OS, cutting paper use and site-to-office travel.
Fuel trackedFuel use is tracked automatically across the fleet and reviewed weekly, so plant utilisation and vehicle movements are managed rather than assumed.
Rework avoidedDigital capture and AI consistency checks find missing requirements before site, reducing rework and the material, fuel and time it costs.

Local content and industry participation

Tasmanian supply chain first

As a Tasmanian-owned and operated contractor we engage local suppliers, subcontractors and workforce wherever practical, supporting Tasmanian Industry Participation Plan outcomes and reducing transport on every project.

Local procurementMaterials, subcontractors and services sourced in Tasmania where practical, with a 10-year-plus relationship with Circular Head Council and the Smithton supply chain as the model.
Made in LatrobeStructural steel, reinforcing cages and prestressed precast fabricated in our own facility, keeping work and spend in the North-West.
Industry participationActive membership of the Civil Contractors Federation, TCCI, PIANC Australia, the Australian Steel Institute, TMEC, the Concrete Institute, the Piling and Foundation Specialist Federation and the Devonport Chamber.

People and pathways

From classroom to career

Community investment

Backing the Cradle Coast and North-West

Around $55,000 a year goes to Tasmanian charities and community organisations, including Cancer Council Tasmania, MND Tasmania’s North-West Support Group and the JCP Youth Program, and every employee receives $300 a year to give to a charity of their choice.

We sponsor local sporting and community organisations including the Devonport Netball Association, the Latrobe Demons Basketball Club and the Devonport Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and our strategic community partners are Cancer Council Tasmania, Devonport Scouts, the Civil Contractors Federation, the Devonport Chamber of Commerce and JCP Youth.
